Please do this. Try to make sure it's not on the same date as some other longboard event. A Pt. Defiance push race would be epic. Maybe 2 laps to make it longer, or you could start up the hill in Ruston.

If you do a $5 entry fee you could just buy a board or some wheels to give out as a prize. The expense of a set of $40 wheels could be recouped if only 8 people showed up, and I'm sure at least 8 people would show up!

Check with the guys at Northwest Snowboards over on Bridgeport Way; they might be down to give you some gear... at the very least some stickers.

Also I would be willing to help you put it on. I'm on Vashon Island for the summer, but it's a quick ferry ride over to Pt. D.
