I'm also planning on getting a set after x-mas and was wondering how they slid compared to other wheels with same duro, I heard that they felt harder than there listed duro and was wondering if that was true for sliding as well or people were just saying that cause they have stiff lips. Also was wondering if anyone has tried the 76/78a and how they compared to the 80a for sliding and gripping.

There all great, even the 82as grip hard and push out very easily. I have a set of the 76as but im saving them for racing. I expect them to grip alot more and take a bit more effort to push out, but i would really need to ride them.

I've heard with the candies harder duros will grip a little bit more (80a vs 78 and 76a) because there is more to push against before it will break free.

not too much sliding, but i got to remove the mold release today at the outlaw hills. first impression: super sick, awesome grip, did one big pendy that shaved a ton of speed in a smooth fashion. fantasmic wheels :D
