So I just recieved the Go Pro I purchased and I had a couple questions.

Is the cord for the USB really suppose to be loose? The thing wiggles around and the light won't turn red unless I hold it in a certain position.

Another thing is I have a computer with Win7 and Windows XP and when I plug the go pro in the usb nothing seems to pop up or be found. I really wanna start uploading clips take i've taken but I can't seem to get it start.

Also I have a Mirco SD card but have a SD card adapter thing so it fits in the SD card. I'm not totally sure if thats relevant but it might be.

thanks

mine didnt pop up on my comp either. i dont think its supposed to. to see your footage, put the sd cards in the card reader. basically all you need to know for the camera. i dont understang why your having that issue with the looseness, but mine fit nice and snug and charged fine.

email go pro. or read the instruction manual.

but usb souldnt wiggle that much, and windows is a bitch and i would just get a normal sd card.

Sounds like you have a faulty GoPro or cable. All I do is plug the cord into my laptop and my GoPro and it connects just fine, regardless of how the cord is attached.

Try a different USB-to-miniUSB cable and see if that fixes anything. If not, you might need a new GoPro. It's also possible your USB port is a bit messed up, but I'm sure you've got ways to figure out whether or not your computer is the culprit.

EDIT: just read your latest post, sounds like you figured out the problem to your woes.
