Vancouver Vixen a success!1st place - Robin "the leg" McGuirk (Portland)
2nd place - Casey Morrow (Portland)
3rd place - Will Story (Vancouver)
There where about 30 racers that showed up to battle the cold, rain, wind and leaves to see who could defeat the 12 mile long course. And don't underestimate those leaves! They were to blame for some of the hardest sections of the course and some epic pile ups, one of the best including all the front runners. Chris and Will did an awesome job of holding Vancouver's first push race and also had some rad shirts. Also, thanks to all the other sponsors that donated shwag for all the participants.
Cant wait for the next one!
16.5 hours later and 170 miles later, James Peters is a verry exhasted man!Thats not to mention all the other Seattle participants in this years Ultra Skate at Greenlake Park. Several other local skaters reached their own personal goals of 30, 50, 75, and even 100+ miles. There was also people from California, Texas, and the UK syncing up and logging hours at the same time. Its very cool to see the sport of Long Distance Pumping being pushed to its limits and beyond and a huge pioner of the sport, James, living right here in the NW.
Congrats to everyone who skated!
